STATEMENT
In this two-day seminar, dedicated to the world of drones and the possibility of video and photographic shooting, we will first focus on the theoretical-creative part by seeing and observing the images of Luca Bracali, director and RAI documentary maker, and then we will move on to the practical part where participants will be able to put into practice the teachings received.
DAY ONE
The program includes the first meeting in the classroom at 10 am on Saturday 14 December until 12:30 pm, then, after a one-hour lunch break, we will leave for the Certosa di Farneta in Lucca, to begin our experience of flying with drones that will continue until 4:30 pm.
DAY TWO
The following day, we will meet at the Versilia toll booth exit, at 9:30, to begin our day of filming in the fascinating scenery of the Apuan Alps that will continue until 12:30 then, after a short lunch break, we will return to the classroom in Lucca where we will continue our lesson by looking at the participants’ images to analyze and discuss them together. The meeting will end at 16:30.
Recommended equipment: your own drone, insured and registered with D-Flight.
Biography
He has traveled to 156 countries, is the author of 20 books and has won 15 awards in international photography competitions. Since 2008 he has been a member of APECS (Association of Polar Early Career Scientists) and since 2015 he has collaborated with IASC (International Arctic Science Committee) for his media and scientific contributions related to the environment. In 2009 he was the only reporter to reach the geographic North Pole on skis. In 2010 Bracali debuted in the world of fine-art photography and his images have been exhibited, as solo shows, in 50 museums and galleries in Rome, Milan, Bologna, Naples, Sofia, Kiev, Odessa, Copenhagen, Yangon, Montreal, New York and Brussels in the exhibition hall of the European Parliament. Director for Rai 1 since 2011 and documentary maker for Rai 2 and Rai 3, he has signed 18 reports on National Geographic and his images have been published by the New York Post, USA Today Post, Fox News, Lens Culture, PetaPixel, The Times, The Guardian, Daily Express, Daily Star, Daily Telegraph, The Sun and Visual China. Since 2017 he has been a lifetime ambassador for the non-profit association “Save the Planet”. In 2021 he became the Italian President of C.I.G.V. – Club Internazionale Grandi Viaggiatori. The Minor Planet Center in Cambridge has named the 198,616th asteroid discovered after him.
Application
Registration form, filled as required, has to be sent by fax or e-mail, along with the following documents:
Copy of the ID card;
Copy of the payment receipt for half of the full price;
Copy of the full payment receipt within a week before workshops start.
Inscription to workshops is valid only after we received, by fax or e-mail, a copy of the payment receipt for 50% of the full price. Inscriptions are accepted while places last on a first come first served basis.

The total amount has to be paid within a week before workshop start. In case you missed the last payment without previous cancellation notice, you will not get any refund.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation is possible until 15 days before the start of workshop. Cancellations within this time will get a total refund on exclusion of registration fee, in the amount of € 5,00.

It is very unusual for us to cancel a workshop, although it might happen that attendees are not enough or that the reader is unable to come.
In caso di cancellazione, Photolux farà il possibile per venire incontro agli iscritti offrendo la possibilità di partecipare ad un differente workshop.
In case of cancellation, Photolux will do its best to meet subscribers requirements offering the chance to take part to another workshop. If not able to find a satisfying solution, Photolux will provide a refund. Photolux reserves the right to cancel a workshop due to lack of participants until 7 days before workshop starting date.
